Sleek Palette

This sleek palette is part of the mediterreanean collection. The Monaco palette (pronounced Mon-a-co rather Mona-co that i have heard on some reviews on youtube. It is stunning!!!!

I did have a bit of a to do in getting the palette. When i got it from my superdrug in Glasgow. Now i don't know whether you are aware but Glasgow city centre particularly Argyle Street the clientel in some of the stores are never the best so previous customers decided to switch the palette with the Caribbean collection Curaco palette

So in the beautiful Monaco packaging was the wrong one i was soo annoyed. Luckily i was working nearby so nipped in on my second break to get it swapped. What a palavah to say the least!!!!!!

I mean the palettes are the same price yet they thought i had swapped them myself so after a heated discussion and me showing the manager that most of the packagings contents were mixed up, I got the Monaco palette and i must say it was totally worthwhile

I have used every colour and absolutely adore it. What makes it that little bit better is that the palette costs 6.49 and you get 12 colours which amazingly works out to be about 54p a shadow which is amazing for how pigmented and colourful they are.

(L-R Bamboo, Aquamarine, Midnight Garden, Sunset, Washed Ashore and Magenta Madness)

(R-L Summer Breeze, Sand Walker, Kiwi Zest, Lotus Flower, Humming Bird and Moors Treasure.)

Lovely colours adore  them. I tried out a few looks and teh best one out of the ones i tried was my peacock inspired look and i think what would make it look ace will be getting the peacock feathered false lashes will make this look really authentic.

How i did the look
Sleek Monaco palette

(L-R Summer Breeze, Kiwi Zest and Hummingbird)

(L-R Midnight Garden)

Top - Bottom
MUA eyeliner in starry night
Collection 2000 Glam crystal eyeliner in Pizzazz
L'oreal paris extra volume collagene waterproof  in Noir

Application of eyeshadow
1st - Rub primer on each eye, then as a base shadow use a little bit of summer breeze lightly blending it over the full eyelid.

2nd - Then use midnight garden on teh crease to outer corner. Then in inner corner use humming bird blending it into midnight garden to outer crease then on the part of the lid near the lash place some kiwi zest blending into humming bird.

3rd - curl eyelashes, then apply No 7 mascara all over lashes then apply MUA eyeliner under lower lashes and apply the volume mascara to lower lashes then line top lashes with collection 2000 pizzazz.

that is my latest blog i realise i haven't been on as much but hopefully that will change.

It has been a while.

Hey Girlies,
Sorry for the lack of posts lately being very busy wih job interviews and stuff. However,my ignorance has paid off and i now have a new job with amazing money so that i can continue loving life and loing makeup.

Todays post will primariy be based on lotions and potions that i use but will be mainly based on soap and glory products. " I HAVE AN ADDICTION" i am sure i am not the only girl who does though :D.
Here is  my  soap and glory products
back - Breakfast Scrub  £9.45, Girligo £6.38, Puff £4.00
Front- Flake Away £6.64 Righteous Butter £10.21 Clean on me £5.11 Hand Food £4.85
Scrub your nose in it £7.40

Now luckily i didn't actually buy all that as most of it i got in the big box soap and glory done at chritmas time for £60.00 then reduced it to £30.00 so my wee mum got me itfor christmas bless her xxx

So the product if will be reviewing first from my soap and glory collection are

The righteous butter (it is amazing if i do say so myself)
What soap and glory say
"A body moisturising formula so virtuous, you mihgt think you're wearing velvet"
This product was first seen on an episode of 'How to look good naked' in january 2008. I think it came out as 1st or 2nd best body moisturiser in the product tests the show use to do.

For me the righteous butter is fantastic the smell isn't to over powering or overly perfumed just very subtle. It is also really light and soaks into the skinbeautifully.

The tub does say that it is for VERY dry skin but don't let that put you of buying it. I did originally buy it for that purpose but still use it now when my skin is clearly not VERY dry. just kind of dry. I have been  using this product for the past two years and wouldnt change anything it is brilliant.
(obviously i have repurchased along the way) but a little really does go a long way

I have had this tub for 6 months and there hasnt been a dent made in it

The righteous butter is an ideal moisturiser for during the winter as it is really light and is still very moisturising which is something you need coming in and out of bizarre temperatures.

My next product will be the Breakfast scrub. The breakfast scrub wasn't ever something i would hav purchased before as it smelt dreadfull in my opinion like really floraly and PINK!!! which is no me at all.

Soap and Glory says
"If scrubbing you is wrong, we don't want to be right"

The scrub is now with a maple fragrance that lasts a good while on your skin i love it. It literallly does smell as though you have just washed in a bath with a bottle of maple syrup YUM some people might find it of putting but oh its lovely. The scrub its self is very grainy so ideally not for your face unless it is in desperate need of a good srubbing. its sugar grains that is in and it is necessary for you to be in the shower or wherever for a bit befoer slapping it on as its rough consistency can actual tug at your skin which is pretty sore and your left with big red marks on your skin for a little longer than normal.

I have had this since christmasa and only just about to finish it

I really like this product as you can see and will defiately be repurchasing it when i am finished as the smell according to my brother really makes you want pancakes which i suppose it does but to me it totally cheers me up after a rotten day and it totally brightens up your skin in preparation for a little bit of tan.

My final body product is Flake away again i got this in the christmas box.

what soap and glory say
"It might be fine if her friends are flaky, but a lady's legs should never be. Transforms your scaly legs from reptilian to radiant, sssssshhhh! now he'll never have to know that all this time you've been flaking it"

Ok now this product confuses me slightly i never really know how to use to be frank. It says its a polish for your body but it is really irritating as it has sugar in it again.

so is quite sore wen attempting to polish your legs so it doesnt really make sense to me. i mean i love the smell and stuff but just really dont know how to use it. luckily it wsant me who bought it as it is defiantely not on my repurchase list.

so on top of having a 300ml tub of it i also have 2 travel size 50 ml HELP!!!! 400ml of the most confusing product ever!!!! and i ate waste and also hate getting pre used stuff in blog sales so would never do that.

So if anyone has any ideas in what i can do or how to use flake away i would be overly happy.

Ok so my hands actually hurt from typing so much of this so i shall repost the rest of my stuff probably tomrrow wen i have more time.

Once again i apologise for the lack of posts but i am more than sure this has made up for it plus what i decide to do tomorrow.

Thaanks very much for having a wee read at my blog

and will chat soon lots of love Kerry Ann xxxxx

E.L.F HAUL!!!!!

Hello my girlies this is my first proper review hope you like

Well last week E.L.F were having a 50% off sale this as a first time buyer was the perfect time to buy a few bits and bobs so i got 7 items, one of which is a christmas present for my best friend.

I got 2 pallettes

83 piece make up set
141 piece master make up set

The 83 piece palette will definately be my go to paletter for smokey eyes as i lost the one i got from sephora when i was in New York due to being stupidly drunk woops :( it also comes with 3 mini brushes which definatel entices me in getting some of E.L.F brushes as they are lovely like the eye shadow brush locks in a lot of the colour meaning a little bit goes along way. Which for the R.R.P £25.00 it is definately cost affective as it will definately last ages and unlikely to hit pan really quickly though i will keep youn all updated on that one :) bonus i got it for 12.50 :D:D even better love a good bargain

The 141 piece master make up kit is definately a professional touch as it has colours of blusher and eyeshadow colours for ever type of skintone and is ideal to use if you were going to do someones makeup like a friends or family memeber as there is alot on offer and again for the price 35.00 it is a forever piece to my now growing collection. 17.50 :D:D:D bargain again

I also got a tinted moisturiser that i have been wanting for like ever but never found  one i liked as they all smelt like either fake tan or plastic this however smells like sherbet lemon sweets and feels beautiful on your face i absolutely love it and the texture is just lovely

I also got the shimmering facial whip which is quite similar to the beneft high beam/moon beam. texture wise though it is much lighter and not like glupy which is something i cant stand

The lack of glupiness in this product however is made up by the overly glupy texture of the luscious liquid lipstick. It is not the best i have a revlon liquid lipstick which goes on like liquid but dries to be a matte lipstick i though this is what this would be however in hindsight i suppose the fact it was only 1.50 and the revlon one was 12.00 . i suppose it is case of you get what you pay for. I think it will be nice for like over a lipstick to add a little bit of shine to it but i certainly wouldnt use it as product on its own.

Lushcious Liquid Lipstick in ruby slipper
I also got a clarifying pressed powder in apricot beige which is lovely again it is very light both in texture and in application it comes with a samll puff which is nice however i find that they kind of things totally breed bacteria so try not to use them as much as i tend to have very oily skin at the best of time so a blush or contour brush is probably what i would use with this just to take away the oilyness of my skin.

Clarifying pressed powder in Apricot Beige

I have left the best to last in my opinion though. I got the therapeutic conditioning balm in orange cream and  OMG it is lovely it is very string orange smell which i know is pretty obvious but i used to be addicted to the body shop lip balms and i got the orange one once and it like really didnt smell of much and it is soooo nourishing and moisturising ideal for the cold winter months when well for me my lips are just so dry and chapped will definately clear that up and well for 1.50 you can't really go wrong to be honest.

All in all i love everything that i purchased however everything apart from the palettes and the liquid lipstick will definately be getting repurchased plus next time there will be some brushes in my order aswell :D:D

Thanks Girlies
